We are the Sea Lions!
The Clarendon Hills Sea Lions Swim Team offers a fun-filled way to improve your competitive swimming skills! The team is open to ages 5-18 who can complete 25 yards of freestyle and backstroke unassisted. The coaching staff works with the swimmers to develop better stroke techniques, confidence in the water, and teamwork skills.
Head Coach - Ashley Ray
Ashley is a junior at Marquette University majoring in marketing and business analytics. This is her second year as a coach, but swam for the Sea Lions for six years. She has been working at the pool for four summers. She went to Benet Academy for high school where she played soccer and was the human resources chair in student government. In her free time at school, she enjoys volunteering on the north side of Milwaukee, tutoring children. She loves traveling, baking, and country music. Her favorite place she has been to is Vietnam.
Assistant Coach - Sophia Slone
Sophia is going into her sophomore year at the University of Wisconsin- Madison studying political science and digital studies. This is her fourth year at the Clarendon Hills Pool and her second year coaching. Sophia swam for the Sea Lions for six years while also swimming for West Swim Club for eight years. At Hinsdale Central she continued to swim as well as play water polo and cheer.
Assistant Coach - Eileen Horton
Eileen is a sophomore at Michigan State University studying hospitality business. She has been working at the pool for four years now and this is her first year coaching the Sea Lions. She swam for the Sea Lions for three years and swam for Hinsdale Swim Club for six years. She is also a first-year manager at the pool. In her free time, she enjoys watching Netflix and going out to eat with her friends.
Assistant Coach - Payton Comstock
Payton Comstock is a senior at Fenwick High School. This is his third season with the Clarendon Hills pool and first year as a swim coach. Payton swam for the Sea Lions when he was younger, and this is how he got started with swimming. At Fenwick, he swims and is on the water polo team.
